Mike graduated from The University of Memphis, August 1989 with a BS degree in Exercise Physiology. He completed hours for Atheletic Training through the University of Memphis 1989 and received certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through NSCA in December 1995. He has been certified as a Certified Fitter of Orthotics through ABC since April of 2005.

Mike created and ran an Industrial Rehab Program in Memphis, TN for 2 years, Chattanooga, TN for 2 years and in Nashville, TN. for 3 years. He is certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE's) and Job Anaylsis and Post Offer Screenings. Mike wrote and published a Functional Capacity Evaluation for a medical journal, sat on the medical review board for Aspen Publishing and published an article in Occupational Medicine Journal. He has more than 17 years clinical experience in the clinic and 14 years experience in Orthotic Fitting.
