John is a Middle Tennessee native, born and raised in Brentwood, Tennessee. He graduated from Belmont University in 1992 with a BS in Business Management and from Tennessee State University in 1997 with a BS in Physical Therapy. He has been director of Physical therapy for several outpatient companies and has Matheson Certification in Functional Capacity Evaluation. His specialties include the treatment of chronic pain and orthopedic patients, with 29 years of experience. His hobbies include coaching basketball and is currently serving as assistant boys coach at Brentwood High School.
